NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Albertsons and Kroger have released a list of locations that they plan to offload amid their merger. According to the divestiture plan, nine New Mexico stores are set to be sold, seven of which are Albertsons stores and two are which are Safeways.
Most of the New Mexico stores to be sold are located in Albuquerque, but Albertsons will also be offloading locations in Farmington, Los Lunas, Rio Rancho, and Taos. Below are the New Mexico stores listed in the divestiture plan:
- Albertsons at 12201 Academy Road in Albuquerque
- Albertsons at 1625 Rio Bravo Boulevard in Albuquerque
- Albertsons at 8100 Ventura Street in Albuquerque
- Albertsons at 7101 Wyoming Boulevard in Albuquerque
- Safeway at 3540 E Main Street in Farmington
- Safeway at 730 W Main Street in Farmington
- Albertsons at 2351 Main Street in Los Lunas
- Albertsons at 4300 Ridgecrest Drive in Rio Rancho
- Albertsons at 710 A Paseo del Pueblo Sur in Taos

Kroger and Albertsons are selling 579 stores in total across 18 states and Washington, D.C. The states with the most locations being sold are Washington, with 124 locations up for sale, and Arizona, with 101 locations up for sale. The state-by-state list of stores set to be sold off is as follows:
