July 15 – 21 is PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week. And Animal Humane New Mexico is celebrating the week as well. Visit PetSmart Everyday Adoption Center on Eubank on July 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to meet adoptable dogs. At the event, they will be offering first-family photos, giveaways and discounted adoption fees.
You can also find adoptable dogs at Animal Humane’s Main Location, Everyday Adoption Center or Westside Adoption Center. They are open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday’s Pet of the Day is Hippo. The 3-month-old Australian cattle dog mix is available for adoption at PetSmart Eubank.
