ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A career con man admitted to violating his probation from a 2007 racketeering case. Andrew Miller appeared in an Albuquerque courtroom Wednesday morning where Judge Angela Jewell sentenced him to 10 months in prison.

Miller was initially sentenced to five years in 2017 for the 2007 case. He was released on supervised probation in 2022. On Wednesday, Miller admitted in court that he failed to tell his probation officer that he moved in with his new wife in 2023.

Court records showed that Miller married and moved in with a woman with a lengthy criminal history. He also got a second apartment without the court’s consent.

Miller is currently awaiting trial for five rape charges that court records indicate happened at his second home. He is also accused of violating his probation order by talking about his alleged victims on a podcast.

“When you violate conditions of probation by picking up new charges, whether those charges turn out to be convictions or not, that is a concern for the court. This is, would be, the second motion alleging a violation. So I have no opt… I have to have some accountability,” said Judge Angela Jewell.

A date has not been set for Miller’s trial for the rape charges.
